Role Summary:
As an eCommerce Content Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping our brand’s voice and online visibility. You will be responsible for developing engaging, SEO-driven content, managing product listings, and enhancing the customer experience on Amazon. Your proficiency in content creation, Amazon-specific tools, and digital design will be critical to our success in increasing engagement and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy Development: Create and execute content strategies that align with brand goals, audience needs, and SEO objectives.
- Content Creation & Optimization: Develop compelling product descriptions, blog posts, guides, and marketing materials, ensuring they are SEO-optimized for maximum visibility.
- Amazon Listing Management: Upload and maintain accurate product listings, optimize Amazon A+ and Premium A+ content to enhance product pages, and ensure compliance with Amazon’s policies.
- Performance Monitoring & SEO: Conduct keyword research, monitor competitors, track performance metrics, and make recommendations to improve rankings, visibility, and sales.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing teams on promotions, handle customer queries, and support inventory management with suppliers while maintaining Amazon Seller Central accounts.
- AI & Content Design Tools: Use AI tools like Jasper AI and design platforms like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to streamline content creation and design.
- Content Analytics: Analyze content performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations to improve overall effectiveness.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in content strategy.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in content creation, optimization, and strategy within e-commerce or digital marketing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Amazon A+ Content tools, including Premium A+, and a solid understanding of Seller Central.
- SEO Expertise: Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and optimization techniques.
- Content & Design Tools: Expertise in using content creation tools such as Jasper AI, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva, with a good grasp of e-commerce SEO tools like Helium 10 and SEMrush.
- Writing & Editing: Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for clear, engaging, and grammatically correct content.
- CMS & HTML: Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress and basic HTML knowledge.
- Research Skills: Strong ability to research and simplify complex topics for clear communication.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Design, or a related field.
- E-commerce Experience: Experience in designing and managing e-commerce content, particularly for Amazon and other online platforms.
- Analytics Knowledge: Familiarity with Google Analytics and Amazon Attribution for tracking and analyzing content performance.
